Try Netgate in the Cloud

Fill out the form to start a Proof of Concept (PoC) trial for pfSense Plus or TNSR, on AWS or Azure Cloud, software at no cost!

Here is how it works:

1. Fill out the form so we can schedule a meeting to talk about your goals/objectives/desired outcomes, as well as answer any questions that you may have about Netgate in AWS or Azure.
2. During our initial meeting, we will estimate your total costs for the PoC trial.
   1. NOTE: Using pfSense Plus or TNSR on AWS or Azure has two components:
      1. The cost associated with cloud computing resources (EC2 or VM, storage, data I/O, monitoring, etc)
      2. The cost of Netgate products: pfSense Plus or TNSR 
   2. We will use a calculator to estimate the cost of the cloud computing resources for your trial term:
      1. AWS Calculator
      2. Azure Calculator
3. Success Criteria: We will agree on what success looks like prior to moving forward with PoC paperwork with AWS or Azure.
4. Once we have determined success criteria, resource requirements and the associated costs, we will submit a request to AWS or Azure for credits to offset your cloud resource costs.
   1. NOTE AWS PoC credits will be a maximum of ten percent (10%) of the customer’s expected annual consumption. Example: if over a year there will be $10K in AWS resource spend, then AWS would credit you $1000 in AWS credits for PoC funding.
   2. NOTE: for Azure PoC we issue you $0 Private Offer (PO) for Netgate product - pfSense or TNSR. We will discuss timing and set a term for the PO. Your PO will arrive via email.
5. AWS or Azure will issue approval notifications, which include details like the total credit amount and instructions on how to begin.
6. Netgate product costs are still billed to your account. We will handle those costs after the PoC trial is complete as follows:
   1. If you wish to move forward with Netgate products on the cloud, we will deduct the costs of Netgate products via a Private Offer, with significant discounts for a one-year or three-year subscription. You can even work with your favorite Netgate Partner!
   2. If you do not wish to move forward with Netgate on the Cloud, let us know and we can refund your costs for Netgate products via the AWS product refund process. The refund will come from AWS, not from Netgate directly.. (But we hope we get to move forward with you!)
